Overprotective Parents

These days, it seems that kids are not allowed to be kids.  Due to the media, some parents think that there's a pedophile behind every rock. Also, they also think there's danger everywhere, and that if a kid gets online, they will automatically be bullied or molested.  At the other end of the scale, there are kids who are allowed to do anything they want, no matter what the age.  Kids mature at different rates, so that needs to be taken into account as well. Anyway, the point is LET KIDS BE KIDS!!!  All keeping them locked away does is make them paranoid.
