Wedding Bells-from Billy
Here's hoping that Prince William and his new bride Catherine have a long and successful marriage! I know that people tend to be nervous on their wedding day, but I can only imagine how it must felt knowing that billions of people were watching! When/if I ever get married, I want my wedding to be a lot low-keyer then this one. I'm not much into dressing up, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do..

Unbelieveable
Here is an article about a girl who at the age of 15 was rape and impregnated by a deacon in her church. If that wasn't bad enough, she was forced to go before the congregation and confess to her "sin" of getting pregnant. She wasn't allowed to say that she was raped. There is something very wrong with this. These extreme churches protect their own hierarchy, and blame the victims. Something needs to be done, there is no telling how many people's lives have been ruined by stuff like this.
Budget Cuts
All of this talking about budget cuts, If you could, what things would you cut out of the budget? Here are some possibilities:
Military: Decommission some of the older ships in the fleet, retire some older aircraft, to reduce maintainance costs.
Finally kill some of the weapons programs that the military doesn't want, but politicians want to bring money to their states.
Government: Reduce Members of Congress salary, most of them are pretty well off anyway.
Consider combining some agencies, get rid of ones that aren't needed anymore.
There could probably be others...

Quick Note
Sorry that you havn’t heard anything from us the last week! Billy has a sore throat and cough, and that makes talking very difficult. Hopefully Tomorrow (Friday) We’ll have a show for you!
