Teenagers These Days….

Are a lot different then they were 20-30 years ago.   They have no respect for parents, teachers, other adults, or themselves. Because of the internet and social media , they have lots of problems making relationships with people in person.  And much worse, they can’t seem to solve conflict without resorting to violence.  Drugs are their new hobby. What can be done?

Enough Is Enough!

Is 31 deaths in 13 hours due to the shootings in El Paso and Dayton enough to say that something needs to be done about gun control?  No civilian should own an assault weapon, which is an instrument of war. Congress needs to end its summer break and get back to work ASAP on common sense gun legistlation.  Mental health, video games, and lack of prayer in school are getting to be excuses for those politicians who are being held hostage by the NRA.  Also, there needs to be a crackdown on white nationalist groups that use the internet to recruit, and there needs to be laws making domestic terrorism a crime.  And this is wishful thinking, but Trump needs to shut up and quit fanning the flames with his racist talk!
